More Detail:
In Chapter Four of STRANGER THINGS, titled THE BODY, the search for Will continues. Will’s brother takes a photo of Barb that reveals a strange creature in a photo that could lead to some enlightening information. Meanwhile, Will’s mother, Joyce, attends the funeral of her son, even though she doesn’t believe he’s really dead. As she returns home and tries to relax, she sees her son through the wall in her living room, but there’s something between them that she just can’t seem to break through to Will. Meanwhile, Mike and his friends continue their search for Will, with the help of Eleven, who transmits the voice of Will through a radio from an unknown place.
The fourth episode of STRANGER THINGS is an exciting, intriguing one. Sheriff Hopper grows as a more compelling character as he investigates what might have truly happened to Will. Shawn Levy (NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM) brings his skill as a talented director to this episode and the previous one. The characters and their situations are enthralling. The fourth episode is also a little cleaner than the first three episodes. Still, MOVIEGUIDE® advises caution for older children because of brief foul language, some violence and scary situations.
