STRANGER THINGS: Season 1: The Weirdo on Maple Street

 Romantic worldview in the second episode as the characters continue to look after their own interests and desires, children disobey and lie to their parents in order to follow their own hearts, light moral worldview as character takes care of a young girl who is alone, plus light elements of an Occult worldview because of a girl’s telekinetic mind powers;

  Three obscenities, five OMG profanities, a few examples of words like “screwed” and “slut” and “douche”;

  Strong violence and blood include a young girl is mistreated and thrown into a small asylum-like room by herself, the man from the previous episode who was shot is shown with his head shot and bloody, a girl’s nose bleeds when she uses her telekinetic powers, teenage girl cuts her hand trying to open a beer can, a creature is shown trying to come through the wall of someone’s house, a wall contorts in an unnatural scary manner;

  Implied fornication, comments about people “screwing,” jokes about an orgy, and one character tells another that a guy just “wants to get in her pants”;

  Upper male nudity, teenager is shown in her bra on a couple occasions, the upper back of a woman is exposed;

  Mother drinks wine during a family dinner and teenagers are drinking beer at a party together;

  A few main characters smoke cigarettes, plus man takes prescription medicine; and,

  Strong miscellaneous immorality, including examples of dysfunctional families, siblings fight, children skip school and lie to their parents on multiple occasions, a few flashes of a creature are startling and/or scary.
