Content:
(CC, BB) Strong Christian, biblical worldview, but these two episodes are a little more goofy, with less Scripture content, showing the importance of respecting people’s differences and having a good attitude; and, nothing objectionable.
Episodes: Season Overview
More Detail:
In the VEGGIETALES IN THE HOUSE segment of Episode 3, “Bob’s Bad Breath,” Bob the Tomato is hired as a greeter at the store. When he is up all night because of Larry’s bad breath, he finds it hard to greet people with a smile. He has to work on changing his attitude to be successful at his new job. In “Trading Places” Bob gets tired of having Larry as a roommate and decides he wants to switch roommates with Jim and Jerry across the kitchen. Soon, Bob learns that living with someone more like him isn’t actually ideal, so he comes to appreciate Larry as a roommate.
Although both these segments have valuable lessons, there is a lack of Biblical content that is present in the other episodes. Most episodes include multiple Bible verses and references to God, but Episode Three is completely focused on attitude and personalities. Nonetheless, it still has positive messages throughout the episode. Even so, VEGGIETALES IN THE HOUSE is a good way to expose children to positive character traits.
