Many of us were up through the night listening to sirens, searching for information on what was taking place around us, and checking in with loved ones around Nashville. By God’s grace, we’re all unharmed, but the same cannot be said for our city- which has taken quite a hit. I can’t believe the amount of destruction that tore through Nashville early this morning. This city has been a great home to me and my family, and seeing so much loss is heartbreaking. My thoughts and prayers are with those who were directly impacted by the tornado. Nashville has been through so much, but I know we’ll get through this together and come back stronger than ever. #IBelieveInNashville

Heartbroken for my city. I personally had never experienced a tornado like that before…so scary and intense…but we were spared the worst. Others in our community just down the street were not. So so sad. Please pray for Nashville and the surrounding areas. #nashvillestrong #wewillrebuild

Woke up to the devastating news of the tornado in Nashville. Can’t imagine what a scary night that was for so many. Nashville is where Sadie lived the last few years before she got married, and we have so many close friends who live there still! It’s a special place. Pray for Our city of NASHVILLE – A scary night of sirens and a sunrise that revealed the damage of this deadly tornado. Heavy hearted ? today for the destruction that does not seem as though it can be real, for the families who have lost so much- for the children who should never have to see their school destroyed, for families and friends who grieve today- as we are holding onto hope and give thanks that this amazing city will surround, pray and rebuild hearts and homes by the power of God, that this community we have loved and been rooted in for the past 5 years knows precisely how to lean in and love so well.
