Merry Christmas from Bryan College!

About the Bryan Department of Music:

Psalm 95:1 (KJV) says, “O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.” The Bible is filled with additional verses instructing us to sing praises to the Lord. The Bryan College Department of Music provides students with professional preparation to cultivate their God-give musical talents into not only a career, but also a calling. With seven different areas of concentration ranging from performance, to composition, to teaching, and even musical theater, students are able to focus on their talents and area of interest.

In addition, there are numerous opportunities outside of the music major to be involved on campus. Opportunities include choral groups, musical and opera theater productions, a traveling worship team, various ensembles, and more.

About the Bryan Chorale:

The Department of Music’s primary choral ensemble is The Bryan Chorale. Student auditions are held each fall.  The group performs at many venues throughout the school year, goes on tour each spring break, and sings at churches, schools, and many other locations. The group’s concerts and recordings have been received enthusiastically throughout the United States and Europe, including the Lincoln Center in New York City; The Pentagon in Washington, DC; and Westminster Abbey in London.
