The very funny CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN stars Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt as parents of 12 children who must confront their priorities when their careers get in the way. CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN is highly entertaining. Although it is not the beloved original novel, it makes a tremendous number of positive, redemptive, and moral points including affirming the resurrection of Jesus Christ in the midst of messy situations.

MOMS' NIGHT OUT

In the remake of THE PARENT TRAP, Little Hallie Parker and Annie James (both played by newcomer, Lindsay Lohan) meet at camp and slowly discover that they are identical twins, separated at birth. Their job is to trick their parents into getting back together. Despite some pranks and a few exclamations, this movie is very moral, with a strong Christian worldview that extols family values.

In INCREDIBLES 2, the sequel to Pixar and Disney’s classic animated movie, Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, and their children spring into action once again when a supervillain hypnotizes innocent civilians to harm others. INCREDIBLES 2 is another fun, exciting, family-friendly superhero movie with lots of humor and heart, but it contains a couple light expletives and some scary elements requiring caution for younger children.

Pixar’s new animated comedy, LUCA, is about a young teenage boy who visits a beautiful seaside Italian town with his newfound friend, but all their fun is threated by a deep secret: they are both sea monsters from another world just below the ocean’s surface. Streaming on Disney Plus, LUCA isn’t as spectacular a production as the best of Pixar’s animated classics, but it’s a delightful, heartwarming, funny family movie with appealing characters where friendship overcomes prejudice and sinful pride.

LITTLE WOMEN

LITTLE WOMEN is Louisa May Alcott's classic story of four sisters in Civil War era New England. While the strong religious themes in Alcott's book are toned down, the movie does contain positive Christian characters & actions, strong parental figures, chaste courtships, and especially winning performances by Winona Ryder, Kirsten Dunst and Claire Danes.
